The aim of the fund is to provide financial resources for direct benefit of mining communities.
The financial resources is used to fund the nursery of hybrid oil palm seedlings for distribution to farmers in mining communities,
65,000 oil palm seedlings have been supplied to farmers in the district .
Total of 336 beneficiary farmers (255 males and 81 females)
It is expected to cover land area of 1083 acres.

It was observed that most of the farmers adopted best management practices in oil palm production.
Farmers requested for wire mesh to protect the seedling from destruction by grasscutters
