People of Kubi in the Ampunyase electoral area in the district are soon to benefit from a CHIP compound and a nurses quarters.
This was revealed when the Minerals Development Fund Committee in the district visited the community to interact with them on the prospects of developing the area.
Addressing the gathering, the chairman of the committee. Hon Nana Asare Bediako said the committee wants to ensure that all mining communities in the district get a fair share of the government cake due them.
He therefore urged Nananom to as a matter of urgency provide arable land for the project.
The district chief executive Hon. Maurice Jonas Woode also added that this will be the third project the committee will be undertaking in the district since its formation two years ago.
People of Akrofuom and Wamaase have both had their share of the fund.
He urged all to embrace the project and make it a reality.
The queen mother for Kubi Nana Antwiwaa was also grateful to the committee for choosing Kubi out of the many mining communities in the district.
She assured that all support needed by the government to get the people of Kubi a CHIP compound will be provided and that it should be expedite.
