Over 40 hairdressers and beauticians in the district have benefited from equipment and other working tools to improve the quality of their job.
Presenting the items to them on behalf of the Member of Parliament for the constituency, Hon. Alex Blankson, the DCE, Hon. Maurice Jonas Woode congratulated the beneficiaries and admonished them to make good use of the items.
He added that government through the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has other programmes that is intended to make them prosper in life and will soon be rolled out to them.
He also urged them to add quality to their work in order to woo more customers to their end.
The president for the local chapter of Akrofuom National Association of Hairdressers and Beauticians (NAHB), Ms Cecilia Akko was full of praise for the Member of Parliament and the Assembly for the gesture.
She assured that the beneficiaries will make good use of the items at their work places and will not compromise on its quality usage.
Also present at the presentation was the district officer for Ghana Enterprise Agency (Business Advisory Centre), Mr. Kelvin Ofori Atta who also admonished the beneficiaries to be judicious in their trade.
