Akrofuom: Akrofuom MP Visits District Assembly

The Member of Parliament for Akrofuom Constituency, Hon. Alex Blankson has paid a working visit to the Akrofuom District Assembly.

The visit according to him is to officially introduce himself to the management and staff of the Assembly and also to solicit their support and cooperation in his service to the people of Akrofuom as the new Member of Parliament.

Addressing the gathering at a short ceremony, Hon Blankson said its imperative that he introduces himself to the management and staff of the Assembly though they are all aware he is the new Member of Parliament for the constituency.

He also needs to know the staff of the Assembly and establish a cordial relationship with them so that they can approach him whenever they need his assistance or inputs in the discharge of their duties.

He assured that he as an individual is ready to see Akrofuom constituency developed and he needs the contribution of the Assembly staff to achieve that.

For his part, the District Chief Executive for the District, Hon. Maurice Jonas Woode thanked him for the visit and congratulated him for his victory in the 2020 Parliamentary elections.

He also assured that the Assembly will accord him all the necessary support to enable him achieve his vision for Akrofuom.

The Ag. District Coordinating Director, Mr. Douglas Ebenezer Ntiamoah also thanked him for the visit and also assured him of the unflinching support of the Assembly to him.

He also added that the staff of the Assembly are well motivated to see Akrofuom develop so they will work hand in hand to bring development to Akrofuom.

He added that the Assembly had a cordial relationship with the outgone MP and he is optimistic that the same cordiality will be extended to him.

He also revealed that there were many projects initiated by the former MP that could not be completed because of funding, hoping that Hon Blankson will see that they are completed.
